A Dominican University criminal justice degree will introduce you to the complexities, challenges, and goals of the criminal justice system through a robust and challenging curriculum.
You’ll learn that the criminal justice system is more than cops, courts, corrections, and arrests, and that prosecution and punishment don’t exist in a vacuum. Decisions can be divisive and communities can demand actionable change.
Our faculty will help you identify your professional goals and design a personalized curriculum, including minors, that will equip you to fulfill your employment dreams or continue your education.
Your classroom studies will be enhanced by field trips, an internship, and extracurricular events, such as Criminal Justice Day, which is an annual event that brings in industry professionals who share their experiences and inspirational stories.
You’ll have an opportunity to be inducted into the National Criminal Justice Honor Society, Alpha Phi Sigma, and if you join our honors program, you may have the opportunity to be published in Illuminate, the undergraduate journal of the Northeast Regional Honors Council.
